TAMIL IMPRINTS IN NEW ZEALAND written by A.T.ARUMUGAM PILLAI.

"THE FIRST QUEEN OF KAYA KINGDOM WAS TAMIL AND THE FOURTH KING--SOK TALKE WAS A CHOLA WHO RULED SOUTH KOREAN KINGDOM NAMED SILLA"

This happened during the christian era. Can u believe it? Great tamils.

The maritime and seafaring activities of the ancient Tamils is a renowned feature which draws our attention towards the famous TE PAPA TONGA REWA museum in NEW ZEALAND. It is there the Tamil bell which eloquently speaks of the valor and might of the Tamils is exhibited.

Our Tamils have settled and ruled in East Indies, Korea in the Northern Pacific and also Southern Polar regions.

What an extraordinary achievement in those days when the rest of the world was learning to plough. This great feat is well documented by the famous Tamil Eelam author and historian Mr.A.T.Arumugam Pillai currently living in New Zealand.

The Tamil letters found on the Tamil bell prompted him to do research about the imprints left behind by the ancient Tamils in this part of the globe. This interesting book is well substantiated with relevant facts and in-depth research work. In this book he has written how the Tamils have traveled very closer to the south polar region. The chapter on "The Tamil Bell" is very extensive well researched article worth reading. He explains how the bell might have reached the shoes of NEWZEALAND. He further explains how the bell is similar to the ones used by the brahmins in the ancient hindu temples of Java. Quite interesting.

The WEKA PASS drawings found some 60 miles from Christchurch in the South island is also well explained in this book. The rock inscriptions of Manu Bay near Raglan stands testimony to the maritime activities of our brave Tamils. Those carvings gives us undisputable evidence of our brave seafarers. The book contains articles which enlightens our knowledge in this subject.

When i personally received an email from the author i was excited. He was kind enough to send the e-book to me for reading.

Sir may your tribe increase. May u live through many more full moons to educate and enlighten the Tamil speaking world.

Dear Tamil mothers please tell the children of your household the brave and heroic legacies of our ancient Tamils.

We should be proud of our rich Heritage and bravery and salute our rich motherland.

REACHING THE REGIONS OF THE SOUTH POLE IS NO ORDINARY FEAT AND A RARE ONE ACHIEVED IN THAT BYGONE ERA. ONE SHOULD APPRECIATE THE KNOWLEDGE AND VALOR OF OUR BRAVE AND WISE ANCESTORS.

SUCH A MIND BOGGLING FEAT!

This book should reach the shores of Tamil Nadu and find its due place and respectable in the college curriculum and in the hands of the student community.
